Nestled in the heart of the Eastern Cape lies the Kruger National Park. The Kruger National Park is one of the top wildlife parks in the world. It is home not only to the "big five", but to 507 bird species, 336 trees, 147 mammals, 114 reptiles, 49 fish and 34 amphibian species.

Kruger's climate is subtropical with hot rainy summers from October and March, followed by warm dry winters. In winter, the cooler temperatures and sparser vegetation makes game viewing a lot easier.

Kruger Park offers a wide variety of accommodation: rest camps (main camps), bushveld camps, bush lodges and caravan & camp sites. These vary in price, style; from rustic to luxurious. Camping / Caravan Sites, En-suite Chalets, Cottages, Furnished Safari Tents, Thatched Rondavels, Bungalows & Huts. All accommodation facilities are serviced daily. Major restcamps have electricity, a first-aid centre, a shop, braai (barbecue) and communal kitchen facilities, a laundromat, a restaurant and/or self-service cafeteria, public telephones and a petrol (gas) station. Some camps also have swimming pools.

You can opt to stay inside the park or just outside of it's border gates. The surrounding country side is a must to view and we highly recommend this. You can choose to fly or drive to this scenic part of the country.
